The Creature from the Cathedral

This town was left abandoned for years since it was pillaged during the war, only recently have people started coming back. The cathedral at the center remains somewhat of an enigma. Boarded up and adorned with warning signs which could have only been left by occupying soldiers. Those who have gone in come back in varying states of delirium covered in mysterious scars. The reasons why anyone still stays in this town are almost as big a mystery as the scratching noises heard from within the cathedral.

I wanted to try some things out and that's about as much as I can say about this one.
Dont look too hard at its nose I know what it looks like but by the time I realised it was too late.
